If your Xbox One is set to output in 4K to a 4K TV you'll see the game in glorious 4K, but 1080p TV owners will benefit from a supersampled image that makes the old 360 game look super crisp and clean. The game will require an update in order to take advantage of these enhancements, but this should happen when you launch the game if your console hasn't already downloaded the update. This means that that the game can now be run in 4K and with increased texture quality on the Xbox One X. On April 10 Red Dead Redemption on Xbox 360 was enhanced for Xbox One X. However, weapons used in multiplayer have to be unlocked through leveling up.
The game also lets players edit gestures, weapon models, and color palettes used.
Players are able to customize their character's head, body, back and legs, and allows them to unlock more clothing and body types after leveling up and downloading content. Unlike its predecessor, Lost Planet 2 allows players to create and customize their own characters.
